R/C Trailink

R/C Trailink - Wireless ESC Programmer

The R/C Trailink is a Bluetooth programmer and app that lets you tune ESCs (and more) from your phone! It lives on your rig between your ESC and RX and lets you quickly change settings and tune on the fly - right on the trail!

- Program on the trail with your phone or tablet. Read and change AM32 and ESCape32 settings over Bluetooth - no laptop, no USB linker.

- Leave it installed. Your receiver's signal passes through the Trailink to your ESC, so you drive with your radio as normal and tune whenever you want - no swapping plugs.

- Drive from your phone (App Drive). No radio? Two-thumb or one-hand controls drive your ESC and steering servo straight from the app. Additional steering plug is installed by the user or at Holmes Hobbies.

- Built in failsafes for signal loss.

- Presets for quick settings on new products. One-tap Holmes Hobbies setups for AM32 and ESCape32 (Inrunner, Outrunner and Micro).

- Back up your settings. Save your settings and restore them if an experiment doesn't work out.

- Firmware flashing. Update or reflash AM32 and ESCape32 firmware from the app.

- Secure wireless updates. The Trailink updates over Bluetooth from the app - no computer needed.

- Lock it to your phone with a PIN and custom name.

- Private by design - no account, no cloud, no internet needed after download.

Wiring

- The ESC plugs into the Trailink's pins and powers the Trailink.

- With a radio: Bypass wire connects ESC to your RX. Your steering servo stays on the receiver.

- Without a radio (App Drive): The Trailink is your RX. Your steering servo plugs into the Trailink too. Servo plug must be soldered on by the user or Holmes Hobbies.

(Full wiring pictures are in the app: App Drive > Settings > Wiring help.)
