Shipping Methods and Charges

At this time, all orders placed through holmeshobbies.com are handled through the United States Postal Service, typically via Priorty Mail, or FedEx. In some cases, small items ordered domestically will be shipped USPS First Class, and if there is a difference in shipping cost, that cost will be refunded automatically to the purchaser. In our experience, there is very rarely a difference in shipping times.

We do not offer additional shipping methods. If a different shipping method is required due to some extenuating circumstance, customers are welcome to contact us PRIOR to placing their order. If we are able to accomodate the request, we gladly will, but be aware it will generally be the customer's responsibility to generate and pay for shipping labels for carriers other than USPS.

Customs Charges 

In ALL cases, customs and/or import taxes are the responsibility of the purchaser. Holmes Hobbies declares the exact quantity and value of all items shipped internationally, and under no circumstances will alter that amount. We understand that very often these import charges may be quite high. We will not respond to requests to alter customs declarations.
